K: Tim Kent - Guesting
Amberley Acoustic Music Club
September 2011

At The Black Horse Pub in Amberley West Sussex on Tuesday 27th September 2011. My 30 minute show is a combination of my own songs and those which I admire from other folk musicians many of whom I have had the privilege of knowing personally through my connections with running several folk clubs here in Sussex over the last thirty years. I am using a Sigma (Martin) acoustic guitar, a very unusual lovely Leyanda low-octave small guitar and a French triangular Dulcimer to accompany 8 songs which are:
00:16 – One More Time by Paul Metsers 02:50 – Harvey’s Best by me 6:13 – When The Boys Are On Parade by Marcus Turner 11:57 – Banks Of The Bann Trad arr. 13:34 – Lads O’ The Fair by Brian McNeil 19:01 – They’ll Never Believe It’s True by Steve Cooney and Andy Irvine 24:21 – Sealed With A Kiss by Peter Udell and Gary Geld 26:12 – Rolling Along by me.
The evening was nicely hosted by John De Little and this video was filmed by the lovely Lucie Wentworth (xx)…for me it will stand the test of time and I hope you all enjoy it.
